The "jewish style" kjv...yes? In Genisis does it refer to The Lord as ADONAI or Yahweh? What do you make of say Gen.38. 1-10 ?

You tell me...you did read the book,...right? BIG G or little g? The "Lord" we are talking about here who has just murdered two people in 10 verses is YHWH...yes? We can get into descriptions after we establish identity's. Maybe jumped ahead. Gen. 22.2 is an interesting start to establish the carnivorous nature of YHWH (ADONAI). We could skip to Num.16 or Ex. 32. 27-29 or 1Sam.15 ...maybe 1Judges 2-4 to establish the blood thirsty nature in a much bigger way. After that I say we review YHWH cut of the booty in gold, goats, donkeys, and virgins...what say you?
Well, since God created man and is holy, without sin, then if He decides to take someone out, that doesn't qualify as "murder," but judgement.
The Abraham and Isaac story was a test of Abraham's faith. He knew when he took Isaac up that God would provide the sacrifice, which He did. It also sets up the prophetic pattern of Jesus as the blood sacrifice for all. I don't think that counts as bloodthirsty.
Numbers 16 and Ex. 32 are judgements for sin.
Killing the Amalekites was a purge of Nephilim tribes that were never supposed to have existed in the first place. They are seed of the serpent. This is the seed war from Gen. 3.
The Hebrew root of Adon means the first judge. We know Jesus will judge all men, and He says He and the Father are one.
So, you think this god is the "creator God of the Universe". I'm guessing he demanded his cut of the gold and virgins just to set an example. Obviously murdering anyone who doesn't do as you wish is all good as long as you have declared yourself "without sin". Ab and Isaac story was a test...yup.
