Don't know about that, but I went through throat cancer in 2013, with chemo and radiation, and I'm now in the prime of my life and health. I figure I'll probably last quite a few more years too.

Good that you're feeling better and over your ordeal.
When they say it adds 2% to the five year survival rate, they mean something like:
Ty for sharing. My spouse fighting cancer now, nasal area. Glad to hear success.
