Don't know about that, but I went through throat cancer in 2013, with chemo and radiation, and I'm now in the prime of my life and health. I figure I'll probably last quite a few more years too.

When they say it adds 2% to the five year survival rate, they mean something like:

  • without chemo, 60% survive at five years.
  • with chemo, 62.3% survive at five years.
