A recession is at least 12 quarters of negative growth according to the Biden Administration. A depression is a complete collapse of society where everybody is fending for themselves after killing the government.

Well, certainly that makes sense. Biden won't be the resident when 12 consecutive quarters of decline are reached so he will be held blameless.
