Lightning is plasma. You ain't seen nothing yet. Discharge events will increase by several magnitudes. Many here may well live to see a few inter-planetary plasma discharges prior to termination. No amount of weather manipulation/ haarp/ chem-trails will effect the sun. NCSWIC
The SOLAR STORM has arrived

Nothing to see here
The weather cannot be controlled, move along, nothing to see here. Your Government loves you.
Lighting takes the path of least resistance to the ground. This makes no sense occurring naturally.
Lightning also travels cloud to cloud naturally. Tesla proved it 80 years before planes could actually fly into storms and detect it, and 100 years before satellites could see them.
That's weird. I heard one a couple weeks ago that lasted over 30 seconds, probably closer to a minute. I couldn't believe it. It came out of nowhere too. Just a singular super boom (effing loud) during a drizzle, and the sound went on forever.
Probably because the bolt travelled a long way horizontally away from you. For every 5 seconds you hear it that’s how many miles away. So if you heard it rumble from the initial “SLAM” close to you, for 20 seconds the bolt was at least 4 miles long away from you. Yay physics!
Thunder and Lightning are not the same thing. Lightning causes thunder.
The light lasted 17 seconds, not the sound. It's not out of the ordinary for thunder to rumble on for a while.
Oh, I missed that it was just the light lasting that long.
Any photos taken from the ground?
