Venturing North on vacation there were huge F*** Joe Biden signs all over front yards facing a main highway. One chick had an outline of the current governor on her truck's rear window with "Darth Vader's daughter" captioned. We honked for a US flag Punisher sticker on a car and gave the thumb's up. My passenger caught a house painted with a Q and WWG1WGA. Very cool to see since there is little to none of this in SE MI.

Northern Michigan, northern Wisconsin and Minnesota are economically hurting. The lock-downs were designed to destroy private businesses to which it was very effective in doing so. You can see the damage it caused. Before tourism became a dependent income there, there was industry. Paper mills and manufacturing, commercial fishing, mining, and other manufacturing enterprises use to thrive up in these parts of the country.
This all started to change dramatically when Obama was elected. Soon afterwards the DNR started to make land claims with any dwellings (i.e. cabins, lodges, camps, businesses, etc.) that were bordering reservoirs and federally managed waterways. I knew a fellow who had a cabin on Lake Kabetogama in northern MN. It was in his family for more than 3 generations and they were ordered off their land because of the new policy.
The reason I mention this is because it is all part of the same pattern being seen in northern Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and other states. They want the people off their land, so that these regions can be exploited by the uber-rich. It's all part of the 2030 goal. Destroy their businesses and they will be forced to flee to the big cities for work.
A good example of a State that has really succumbed to out of state investors is Maine. It's a two-tier society, in which there's the uber-rich that come up from Boston and NYC and dominate the politics there and then there's the peasant class that work and scrape to survive. Many of these folks whether they wittingly or unwittingly know it, are shining the shoes for out-of-Staters for survival. Northern MI, WI, and MN are starting to see the same thing play out.
Those are the politicians, and they come from Chicago too. I'm talking BIg corporate money similar to Nestles buying water rights and RICO with the federal government.
Glad to hear it. A few years ago, my wife and I checked out the UP, and then visited most of the beaches along the west coast. I think I ate my weight in fresh cherries. Awesome getaway.
Pretty much the same here. There are a very few good friends we know who are definitely cool but other than that most people are out of their minds.
Too bad you still have all that evil in Detroit and Lansing.
Those signs were not self-censored like my post either!
Don't you put that evil on SE lol we got big daddy T flags FJB and a neighbor ive never met or spoke to just put a frank speech fix 2020 first sign up.
Michigan is Red.
Where I live there is no open Trump support. Just a few miles out of town it starts to change. I mean people are afraid of reprisals around here. I have never put up political signs but some people around here can't put them away; Biden, Whitmer...all these losers that have wrecked our economy but they still support them. You ask them what is it about Trump they hate the most and it's all bullshit like Russian collusion, racism, sexism. fascism. It's programmed emotional bullshit.
Northern Michigan or the UP?
NE Lower Peninsula - not far from Alpena
Monroe county has those signs in SE MI
Definitely Alpena!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Mid Michigan here. I see a bunch of anti potato signs/flags in my area.
Before the 2020 election we took a trip up to the tunnel of trees (Harbor Springs to Good Hart). I flew an american flag and a Trump flag out of the bed of my truck. We got over 60 honks or thumbs up, 2 birds and one person screaming F.U. and F. TRUMP.
According to my flag poll, I'd say that Trump took Northern Michigan by 95% of the vote🤪
