It was never every other day though, and they never EVER threatened blackouts or power outages. it being "just solar science" isn't the point whatsoever, & that comment was kinda "Bill Nye" of you.

Not about the science, its about the narrative push on a constant reoccurring basis on front page google, moreso now (tenfold) than any other time in the past.

(& No, I don't click the links, so it isn't like the algorithm thinks I'm really into solar flares)
