There seems to be some subtext here between the State of California and Geico. Something is happening behind the scenes. Geico won't say why it closed all the physical offices and the State responds with, (Change insurance companies). Something California has done or is about to do, has made Geico want to opt out. Now I am curious as to why that is. Policies still serviced, but no physical locations. π€
This is easy. Having CA employees is a pain for a multi-state company. Too much regulation. More productive humans will be based in other states. I.e. based states.
Will the Gecko be homeless? Maybe start a go fund me for him?
GEICO is owned by asshole Warren Buffett.
Word on the street is that Flo canβt stand the smell of L.A. and S.F. street-shitters and all of the leftards.
Sure why not, we can sell out our people, and they'll still use our product.

I would say the issue is more that they are sick of dealing with CA rent, regulations and HR BS.
My sole concern is, will GEICO continue to sponsor "Jeopardy"?
What is yes.
