How do you unhide something or unblock someone that you accidentally hid or blocked

My fat fingers keep hitting the block and hid buttons when I want to read the comments.

Did you leave a comment by any chance? If so, go to the upper right part of the screen and click on your username, which will open all your posts. Find that post and gain access to the thread, then unhide the person. Someone may have a better / faster way, but that should work if nobody else posts. Good luck.
