What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Someone has to be really open, and already using their mind to be able to take content that's a summation or theory. There are a few factors, then:
One, is the person's mind open to new information?
Two, is the person's mind open to being challenged re: views they have never entertained before?
Three, dropping information in a gradual way, that plants seeds and allows the seeds to grow before adding.
If someone shows resistance, you also have to be open to the idea that maybe how your communicating is not effective (for them), or be open to learning from their feedback, because that is what you are asking from them.
It sounds like you dropped a lot on him, and a summation or big picture conclusions for which he may simply not have the information required to balance and verify.
In other words, without the layers of factual information and all the understandings they provide, a person CANNOT process or accept certain assertions. Why? Because they are actually thinking and processing.
So either they have to be very, very open to you such that they could entertain ideas simply on the basis that you said them, or they have to have data and info points that allow them to make sense of the ideas being presented.
Conclusion: if there is a resistance, then it means that the person needs more data points and more information, at a minimum. Some people just aren't open to information; they don't want to know, even if they could. Nothing helps there. But if someone is actually a thinking person, then layering in data points, information, is like fertilizing the soil of their mind.
Then, there is always a dynamic: Add seeds, give time to germinate. Add seeds, give time to germinate.
This is like life: spend time during each day awake, taking in information and doing things. Then at night, sleep, allowing the mind to process and digest.
Too much information too quickly is like subjecting someone to a blazing sun and heat, relentlessly, for hours on end, or days on end. They need time to digest.
As an analogy, some folks have a 2 hour sun tolerance level, some people have 4. Some people can take 8 hours of sunlight (to the mind), others 12. Going down a rabbit hole is like having 24 hours+ of sunlight stream into your mind. It's gotta be robust, prepared, and all those cognitive muscles working.
So, you may simply need to take it easy for him. If you've digested a lot of rabbit holes, you're more like superman than human. So don't break the humans.
Good luck.
