Most fathers would usually intimidate prospective boyfriends or son in laws by ensuring their cleaning a gun. Or make some indirect euphemism about beating the crap out of them or burying them in a shallow grave if they hurt their daughter.

Trumps version is telling them that his daughter has other and potentially better options.
