Neither does the Constitution of the United States mention abortion which is no excuse for Kansas legislators and governor to let this go. They need to draft legislation on abortion, it's a state's rights issue. Draft the damn legislation.
I am not a lawyer but leftist courts have no standards of fairness and justice.
The legislature could pass a law saying babies after x weeks must be treated as separate individuals to the mother, their bodily autonomy is legally separate from the mother's, and the mother's bodily autonomy must not impede on the child's survival.
Even if they did that to override the corrupt court's definition of bodily autonomy, they probably would still overturn it.
and the mother's bodily autonomy must not impede on the child's survival.
Bad legalese. Easily manipulable to remove the child from a parent on just about any basis that they can argue is impeding on their survival, from eating the wrong food, to too much/too little exercise, etc.

I mean purely with a child in utero but yes, best to have a lawyer contribute to the language.
