I can't even work out which pieces are which, however, both players have, on the back row, a piece on its own colour which means it is not an unmoved king so castling will not be possible.
I'm taking the simplest approach, going according to the setup displayed by Chas. A. Gilberg......
I'm not at all versed on the History of the Game, nor the evolution of the Pieces, so, it's possible we are seeing pieces that once existed, but now have changed.....
