Being "in the community" is becoming status quo. If you arent "in the community" ie, use their language and "respect" them then youre nothing but a hateful bigot. I bet that mom genuinely felt attacked by her kid, you can see it on her face. he tries to explain his thoughts and you can see she recognizes what hes trying to say but in a moment of denial because of his poor speech skills she asks "what are you saying?".
