Having grown up in ag and recently back in....BINGO. We are growing shit, processing it even worse. Just like we have "big Pharma & med & box retail & tech & financial & everything else" We have big farming. As with the rest, shitty legislation in the 70's and beyond drove the small guys out of business. I am tickled shitless to start to see this exposed. This was a travesty on numerous levels. They killed the small guys so they could control the entire food chain, so they could slowly poison us. This has been and is what is going on.
Yeah I hear you, I have a mild connection to farming, have done a bit for a friends small farm, and being a country lad. Shooting in the Winter seasons as well, game meat is great and clean! I only buy meat from my local butchers, the difference in taste between that and big supermarkets is vast.
Luckily I still live in an area (mostly arable) with some small size farms, but they are getting less and less.
That is exactly how we combat this. Buy local. Hopefully we can breathe air back into the small farmers. Have a great weekend!!!
