I'm telling you from experience, the British Army is a shell of its former self. The total number of Army personnel is technically below that of what you would call a standing Army, more like a militia.
From being a "Tanker" during the cold war and after, we would have full scale FTX's every 2 years involving most of the forces, plus the US ground forces, German and other NATO countries, and would probably spend 4 months total of the year on an exercise or gunnery ranges. You cannot operate effectivly unless you live and work on MBT's understanding every last bit of your "wagon".
Even then, our expected survival time up against an advancing Russian full attack was 21 mins for a Main Battle Tank Regiment.
Since all the cutbacks in the late 90's and beyond most of the heavy equipment was mothballed to save money and because the theatre of war had shifted.
To try and throw inexperienced crew with minimal time on an MBT and only a Regiments worth, around 48 vehicles up against the Russians will be a slaughter imo. We just don't have the numbers or the equipment now.
Well either way the british plan on sacrificing every last one of you for personal gain.fast or faster the result will be the same but the Russians will do a better job running the place anyway

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. Russia COULD do a much better job for the Brits at this point.
