Yes. When I had a remote work position, it saved me money on car repairs, gas, dealing with morning weather, fighting rush hour traffic while partially awake, and I had lower miles on all my vehicles.
I also didnt have to wake up in the morning and shovel snow.
Does that sound like a load of stress off your back and money in your pocket? Or is it just a matter of perspective?
When CV started, I honestly missed the commute in part because that was my radio time. Music is a stress release. To be fair, I did not have a long commute. Maybe 15 minutes in the AM and in the PM, maybe 20-25 minutes. But it was that time to get in the mode to work and to come down from it. The adjustment to WFH was hard for me.
Is it me, or is the traffic we have to deal with going to/from work or elsewhere a part of this daily stress?

I used to do 90 mins twice a day. Podcasts really helped.
