My doctor back then did house calls and used herbal teas not pharma. Strongest thing he gave was paragoric. Few drops in warm water with sugar for a stomach ache. It was opium based. Same dude delivered me in 1962.

We just hardly ever got sick. Still don't. He didn't vax me either. The school system did it.

I remember being lined up in a hallway and being given a shot on my arm along with all the other kids. I have no idea if my parents even knew. I'm not even sure what it was. 6th grade, iirc?
