It's definitely gotten worse. Tons of posts where the posters themselves didn't even read the article they posted, just making assumptions based on the title. Same with videos where the post title expresses outrage over something literally taken out of context / not even in the video. Fake screenshots. And then they get mad when you ask for source / doubt the veracity. But due to it being stickies, everyone just automatically assumes that the mods made sure it was true. We are the news now. We have to be better than that, raise the standards again. No matter how trivial, do your due diligence and check everything yourself, even if it is stickied and has 300 upvotes.
