Update: for those interested, I posted an update just now in this prayer thread. Seemed the most appropriate place. Thank you all, prayer warriors, for your continued prayers! I know they are feeling them, as am I.

Requesting prayers for my very best friend - someone I walked together with through the valley of the shadow of death when we were both diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time. We just learned she has been in hospital since last Wed with blood levels crashing and severe back pain. They’ve done, and are still doing, all kinds of tests and still don’t know what’s wrong but, of course, a recurrence is always a consideration. She knows the Lord but, in spite of my begging, she and her husband both got jabbed as soon as it was available. She thought it was “just another flu shot”. Agree with me please that God would lead the doctors, maybe in spite of themselves, and that He would comfort and give peace to my friend and her family and that He would touch her body with His healing hands and restore her health. Praying this through the will and mighty power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. TIA for your prayers. I am so grateful for this community of warriors.
Hi, I read your update on another post about your dear friend and was saddened to read she was not recovering. She is in our prayers and thoughts.
Thank you for your prayers. I know her family are feeling themselves lifted before God’s throne and know they are loved and supported. Someday I think we will know - in whatever way such things are known in Heaven - those “strangers” for whom we’ve prayed and we will see the impact our prayers had on any situation. I believe we are called to be aware, and to pray for others, so it has a significance beyond this realm. I think we will one day see all of our prayers and how God used them to intervene in situations.
Thank you. Praise God that He has promised that, while this life is temporary, our Hope in Heaven is eternal. Someone else put it very well - this is not a death so much as it’s her birth into the Life that Jesus purchased for her - for all of us. This is only the beginning of forever, and one day we will join her to praise Him forevermore.
