Requesting prayers for my very best friend - someone I walked together with through the valley of the shadow of death when we were both diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time. We just learned she has been in hospital since last Wed with blood levels crashing and severe back pain. They’ve done, and are still doing, all kinds of tests and still don’t know what’s wrong but, of course, a recurrence is always a consideration. She knows the Lord but, in spite of my begging, she and her husband both got jabbed as soon as it was available. She thought it was “just another flu shot”. Agree with me please that God would lead the doctors, maybe in spite of themselves, and that He would comfort and give peace to my friend and her family and that He would touch her body with His healing hands and restore her health. Praying this through the will and mighty power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. TIA for your prayers. I am so grateful for this community of warriors.
“‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Isaiah 41:10
Dear Lord, your way and your will is always pure. We see examples in your word where people were near death, but faith and prayer brought them life. Today you brought me to the story if King Hezekiah who you granted an additional 15 years of life because of his prayers, though he was dying (2 Kings 20:1-11). Please Lord, hear the prayers, see the faith that is lifting up this sister in Christ. If it is your will, please grant the doctor’s wisdom & discernment to find what is wrong and then let them be extensions of your healing hands to restore her to health and return her to those who love her. If instead your will is to welcome her home, please comfort her & all who love her with your promise of salvation. Whatever the outcome, to you be all the glory! I ask this in Jesus’ Holy name. Amen.
Agreeing with you. To God be all the glory. Amen
Amen, and thank you for your powerful prayer. May it be so, Lord Jesus.
You are so very welcome. To God be all the glory!
Amen
