Biggest stress relief component was when I realized the extent MSM uses fake news for comms. The minute I quit reacting with the programmed emotional response to news, it all dissapeared. It's become so obvious in the past month, I would wager there is not a single news article posted in the last week that isn't 100% fabricated story for comms.
One thing that always makes me feel at peace is to look at the night sky. I love seeing the stars, identifying the constellations, just gazing up. Even a passing plane doesn't bother me. That, and just getting out in nature on a pleasant day (or even a stormy day, I love rainy weather) does wonders for me. And yes, trusting God is a huge part of my personal peace.
Indeed. Unbelievers are often heard to say that when they consider the universe, they feel no bigger or better than a spec of dust. I'm just the opposite. When I look up into the sky and behold the wonders of the universe that I can see from my vantage point, I think how important we are because God loved us enough to come to earth as a humble man and die a torturous death. I'm glad you like to star gaze as well, fren.
reading history books for context: there have been other periods of political upheaval and seeming mass insanity. This will eventually pass.
