Not a good plan. This will definitely lead to some problematic stand offs. Folks feel very strongly about keeping the ability to defend themselves from enemies, foreign and domestic. Seems about as good an idea as levying taxes on tea and stamps. That turned out well in the end, but only after a tremendous amount of loss of life and enormous expense for all involved. Let us all hope it doesn't come to this, because this is exactly what has been our goal to prevent. A bloody revolution has a steep cost in lives and material.
