The Gap did the green roof thing several years ago before they sold the building to YouTube. Thing leaked. Then it was just brown grass weeds on top and looked ugly as hell. They finally replaced it.
Green roofs are a good idea.. if the roof is structured for it. It will actually help cool down the area. Solar panels..... if they don't try and regulate your panels. Sure.. but this is France so they will regulate your self sufficient power of course. Forcing is cruel and we know where thats going to lead. But making it an incentive via tax breaks will be good for future construction.
Boy, I hope they beef up the roof construction and water resistance.
