As disgusting as this government bloat is, I can confidently say that in Canada as a federal government worker or in any province as a provincial government worker…NOBODY votes by the ruling party except maybe a few sycophants at the top of the shitepile, who want to keep their jobs.

I look forward to a day when we are shown meaningful data without the politics. For example--GDP is an often-touted figure. Disasters like storms and wildfires would seem like financial setbacks, but in govt-world they are economic windfalls because a billion dollars destroyed means a billion dollars in economic activity to rebuild. How can this kind of accounting expect to be taken seriously?
