Excerpt from United States Senate document #264:
"It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99 percent of the American people are deficient in these minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one or more of the important minerals actually results in disease. Any upset of the balance, any considerable lack of one or another element, however microscopic the body requirement may be, and we sicken, suffer, shorten our lives."
Taking colloidal minerals is a good way of overriding the deficiencies of commercially-grown grocery bought foods. I've been taking colloidal minerals for over 20 years. Even in the 1930s, Congress recognized American crop producing lands were devoid of minerals. Nothing has really changed from that time either. Crops are basically plowed and fertilized with nitrogen, potassium, an phosphorus (NKP) products. Plants eat this stuff up like it was fast food for them, but the plants themselves are not hardy and are subject to disease and insect attack. So, increasing amounts of herbicides and insecticides are used. These petrochemicals (i.e. glyphosate) block absorption of boron and minerals in the crops themselves and ultimately affects human health. Glyphosate has been linked to microcephaly in born children. In fact, the use of glyphosate in the United States is more than any country on Earth. We also have the highest microcephaly rate in the world with some 20 thousand cases each year. Remember the Zika virus "pandemic" in Brazil and its purported "link" to all those microcephaly cases in a certain Brazilian province? The Brazilian government the year before authorized the use of Monsanto's glyphosate.
It has always been known that a freshly cut forest is the best soil for crops. The reason for this is because the trees draw up minerals through their deep root system and when the leaves exfoliate, the fallen leaves begin to decompose and add a new layer of mineral-rich soil. The cycle repeats itself year after year.
Paul Gautschi is an American gardener and arborist, who popularized the method of 'Regenerative' organic gardening that practices a no-till and organic growing principles. The permaculture technique is simple -- cover the soil instead of plowing. Gautschi's story is amazing. He discovered using wood chips to cover the ground and it is very effective in retaining moisture while the wood chips on the surface act to absorb the sun's heat. Weeds do not have an opportunity to grow. I used Paul Gautschi's method and the vegetables I grew never needed fertilizer, herbicide, or pesticides and weeds never rooted. The few that sprouted were easily removed by using my moving my foot. In fact, while I learned this gardening method, I discovered that insects avoided these healthy plants. The mineral rich soils produced very robust and disease resistant plants. It is similar as in the animal kingdom, to which predators look to attack the weak for prey. This is true for insects too. They never ate up my garden.
Growing food and plants with industrial techniques has devastated our soils. Paul Gautschi produced a documentary called "Back To Eden" that has received over 50 million views in every country in the world. The film ignited a world-renowned regenerative organic gardening movement that regenerates the soil and restores soil biodiversity which results in higher yields with less input, all while sequestering carbon.
Can you recommend a good multi then? I've taken them on and off for 15years...wasn't sure if I was benefiting....I'm gonna start again
I'm assuming you are referring to colloidal minerals? If so, I use Survival Enterprises. It's a family business that I've used for 20 years, I think. They have the best price for this good product. One gallon colloidal minerals is $45. I'll buy for 4 at a time. This is to stock up on them and I think the shipping is a flat rate.
