It's one of the autonomous "bad guys" from the first Star Trek program back in the 1960s.

The joke is Hubble imaged it as collection of stars and galaxies, while the new improved James Webb Telescope show it in much higher resolution as one of the nemesis from Star Trek.

Guess you had to be there...
