Wait, I'm sorry, I'm confused now. I thought the Torah was the first 5 books.. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy and were the same as the Christian Holy Bible.. I've never seen anything like that there?
I've been told there are other texts they read though, are they mixed in or ?
The Torah is the first 5 books. The Talmud is a body of rabbinical commentary. Like the Koran (book) and Hadith (commentary). Some Jews do not accept the Talmud. As I recall that was one of the contentions between the Jews and Samaritans, they didn't accept the Talmud.
Dunno...I think it was Clif high who posted this..he is reading all the Jewish books..the Zohar the Torah etc. It was posted online too last year..showed you the page and the text....
It seems to me every religion denigrates other religions as it is all about control and power and money...so they don't want competition. N one needs religion to have a spiritual life and I would think religion would hinder growth ...just my opinion
