Though dual meanings do exist, so I wouldn't be surprised if it also referred to the virus.

Upgrades. Windows XP was "ended" (sunset) yet we had 7, 8, 10 and 11. 9 is so secrete , secrete didn't know.
In the end, the deep state is the virus.
