AM I WRONG FOR FEELING A LITTLE UNEASY WITH THIS NEW SPACE FORCE LOGO?

The Star is VERY likely the north star, depicted as a compass rose to signify Space Force's role with navigation, aka satellites and the all critical GPS system.
Why they are a pharaoh's head is completely beyond me however.
The pharaoh's headdress is human/reptile. The king cobra threat display.
I looked up the unit at space force. It supposed be a sphinx, which if you recall classical myths, was a riddle telling wise god, and it supposedly represents the intelligence units ability to find out all the information.
You know kind of like how calvary regiments have bulls for their patches because bulls charge.
So I am not worrying about it too much. Sounds to be like they picked it because its "cool."
And yes, the star is Polaris, the North Star depicted as compass directions, which is Space Force's symbol, a symbol for navigation.
Interesting...
And, I definitely agree the star is Polaris.
