This one is for the Fed boys watching.
Romans 12: 17-21
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Us men are unable to properly administer vengeance, for it rarely corrects behavior, and it frequently brings forth further violence. With our imperfections, it is not our burden to cast vengeance onto those who wrong us, for only the Lord knows how, when, and what degree this karma shall be enacted upon those who've gravely sinned.
I admit I've struggled with this for the longest time. But since I came upon this passage it really shined a light. As much as many of us want to go forth and lynch each of these corrupt people who've ruined our livelihoods and the lives of children especially, we should not let it obstruct our faith in the Lord to make it all right.
Bible in one hand, popcorn in the other. As the white hats work deeply with the Lord, there's no reason for us to even get involved other than voting and meming.
You fed boys watching our forums, you'll get your comeuppance. Just you wait.
I think many people who enjoy dreaming about a complete collapse of the system or Civil War 2 believe that they will be better off in those situations than they are now. Because they might have built up a large survival pantry (a good idea, no matter what scenario you imagine) or because they've bought some gold and believe they'll be multimillionaires when the Fed is abolished and such. They think they're going to suddenly become part of the "haves" instead of the "have-nots".
It's also nice to think that all your actions and beliefs will finally be legitimized and you'd be redeemed in the eyes of your loved ones who don't share your view points. Suddenly skills that may seem archaic and unappreciated (hunting, gardening and canning, basic handyman work) will once again be not only useful, but necessary to survival.
And let's not forget the sheer glee in imagining people who don't share your opinions about these things ( and who would certainly be unprepared and incapable of surviving a collapse of society) dying or suffering horribly. And yes, I 100% believe that a large number of people think like this, based on conversations I've had with people who look forward to the collapse of society.
Obviously there will be other reasons why people like to fantasize about the collapse of society, but these seem to be some of the most common among people who like to talk about it online.
Yep. Fantasizing about collapse is a massive cope and I'm always shocked that more people don't recognize it
