It's intentional. Mad people don't act rationally. They make mistakes, act out of emotion, and are easily egged into confrontation.
Trump's "angry tweets" do this for a reason. He destablizes everyone on the left, they're all out to get him and keep failing. You can see the steam coming out their ears. What's this guy going to do? After losing to Trump already. His claws will be out, and he'll make mistakes.
