It certainly sounds like your head is on right, stick to your Bible and your thoughts. Let your other family members catch up to you if they can. It is too bad the Catholic religion has a lot (I'll use lot, but I'm not sure how many) of pedophile priests--which make it hard for us to defend them (not God, but the human parts of the church). And remember our extremism is becoming mainstream as we see here everyday.
