From what I hear, Florida is becoming way too crowded. So that’s out. I think Arizona sounds great especially since Kari Lake will likely be governor. I also hear Utah and Idaho are great. I pray things will turn around soon. Good luck with your research.
Years ago I traveled to Florida with two friends. It was fun but looked impoverished. Very humid.
I'm with you regarding Arizona. That is number one on my list.
Idaho is clean, great clean water but harsher weather.
Utah is a beautiful state but predominantly Mormon.
I think my focus will be a nice plot of acreage in a great location with a good fresh water well. I will build it out in a least expensive way.
