Why do that, when we have the technology to decentralize?
I know that social media network prototypes were made (such as Diaspora) that enabled partial-hosting and redundancy? Basically using torrents in real time to host websites.
I'm not familiar with the tech, beyond the vague words I wrote.
We need to set up an internet like the old BBS systems. Completely "detached" from the internet on private servers. Those were the good old days.
