Kids aren't being taught SCIENCE in school, they're being taught SCIENTISM. We're awash in it and almost nobody yet realizes it.

I agree, there's no need for science classes, or history, or "social studies". Basically, the entire high school curriculum can be eradicated and the kids would be better off for it, presuming they aren't planning a career in engineering where the higher maths (calculus, trigonometry, etc.) are needed.
