I was looking for more info on The world‘s fair in Chicago but multiple search engines really only gave me a handful of results they were up to eight pages but i kept getting only mainstreamish results no real blog or ofganic content. it was disheartening because i knew the internet was being pruned but its truly feeling empty when looking for real web content.
It has gotten really crappy for anyone used to doing real research. Everything is very narrow scope and mainstream. Unless you know specifically what you want, you are not likely to find it using general search terms anymore. I have my own tests I do to check the level of difficulty at locating certain websites and articles. Some I have had to type in the title exactly to find what I first stubbled upon through general searching. It is out there, it is just buried. I can see at some point things will start disappearing due to lack of traffic - deliberate.
