They also vote democrat.
not necessarily. a lot of Mexicans are traditionally conservative.
they work hard, pay taxes, get married, have kids,
and they are mostly Christian-ish (Enthusiastic Catholic), even of they don't speak English.
they pretty much have the same manners, and gestures, and morals and ethics, as other Americans.
immigration is a huge topic, and it has been for as long as i have been watching it, which is since about 1993, when i began working in a place that knowing hired illegal immigrants.
they had to hire illegals, because the locals were too lazy to work,
even though i was a local, and i showed up to work every day.
but anyway, theres a huge underground labor market, in everything from landscaping, to construction, to factory work, to ag work.
and these work forces are transient, or migrant.
like, if the Midwest farmers decide they need to detassle a lot of corn, at a very specific time in the life-cycle of a corn plant, then they will need to assemble a HUGE work force, for a short period of time, for a specific reason, and then once the work is done, the workers are done, they are finished, dismissed, fired, released, unemployed, and... probably looking for the next gig.
is is the same for every product that has a growing season. the workers go, where the work is. they may pick oranges in florida, and then cucumbers in california.
if these workers don't show up, the fruit will rot on the vine.
No, necessarily. Look how counties vote that have large Hispanic populations. They are almost all historically extremely liberal.
