I graduated high school in 2006- we learned about Hitler every year, but I don’t think we ever discussed Stalin, mao, pol pot, or any other dictator. I had to learn about all that on my own

Can't tell kids about all the other dictators that murdered a hundred million people. Oh no, the only dictator in the 20th century was Hitler, and he single-handedly killed 6 million Jews.
