It's true. I was a business account executive for Verizon Wireless for five years back in 2010 and I was there when Field Force Manager was launched. Geofencing has been around for a long time and was always accurate due to the satellites. Also, that's not the only application that offered the geocfencing features. Multiple vendors and multiple carriers.
