This meme "from the left" is entirely balanced out by being "about the left", clearly. I think this maintains status quo and we can continue, safely and with confidence, using the phrase "the left can't meme" - :) - thanks for posting this, fren!

you miss-read... again. Or maybe I was ambiguous and you took the wrong intended meaning. You are having an argument with someone who isn't arguing and at this point its kind of funny. I did say "smarter" liberal friends and I intended this to mean "smarter than most liberals" and not "smarter than I (you and I being here, fren)" - and really being on this forum I would like to think its safe to assume you would know which one I meant. All I was calling out is the fact that I'm going to hear about this from my liberal friends (smarter than most liberals) and I hold to that. We are on the same page regarding birthright citizenship and, again, I'm not arguing a thing here.

I should probably ask you to please do some research before replying like this... here is the quote from the original article that prompted Greg Abbot to "request an investigation" per a different article: "A spokesperson for the hospital said they had two billboards within five miles of the hospital near the border crossing but removed them Monday, along with the website, due to the “potential for unintended misunderstanding.”"

Not at all... I'm using a far more detailed report including the hospital involved their statement about it (BS something about misunderstanding blah blah) and the report was of two signs that had gone up. That was it... everything else is blown out of proportion - even if more have gone up there has been no report of this - so I'll stick to my opinion here - it just felt like something I'm going to hear my smarter liberal friends pick up on and throw in my face... and I have no doubt of this.

I know Trump posted about it but at the same time this was only like two signs for one hospital… it’s a far cry from “all along our southern border” and it seems cheap to use it as argument for birthright… whether it is or not it’s going to be called out as fake or contrived quite soon here.

I had multiple monitors up in my office showing the AZ recounts as they happened... not to mention tons of other election-stollen crap from 2020 - then I saw this "offshoot conspiracy theory Q group" talking about how "this is how it had to be" and calm as can be... still busy with decodes, deltas and whatnot. Then I started on proofs, then the drops themselves, then how to research etc. - man this place is great. And really AZ audits were at the center of it all for many of us back then. Good times! Hope things turn around in AZ - and although I moved away from CA, I holdout that its red as well - if it weren't for the cheating by the in-control left in that state.

VPNs have not been banned in the UK - I work for a global tier 1 internet provider. We would know if this were the case... not a "trust me bro" situation - this is what the company I work for deals with. Public VPN's (and of course private) have not been banned in the UK... YET - no seriously I think this will either happen or attempt to happen. From a network provider perspective I can tell you that implementing this would be a nightmare.

Fair enough and respectable... appreciate you, fren! Ya, its all a touchy topic for me. GMO's are not inherently bad, but there is potential and actual harm being done for financial gain because of them. Trying to go "organic" and completely "non-gmo" is an absolutely joke. This is simply "belong to our group of liberal farmers" where organic really means they know when the inspectors are coming and where to not have them look. This is not joking - "organic" is a crock, but some farmers find the gig worth it for the extra they can make with it. And, ya - you didn't offend and likewise, my snap responses can be aggressive at times but I mean no offense either.

so... not a farmer I take it? This is a lovely shock topic that hits people that aren't actually familiar with the industry... nor GMO for that matter. Little example: Let's say Monsanto creates a GMO version of corn that is both benign to humans (or within very conservative acceptable tolerances) as well as resistant to a pesticide they also produce. This combo GMO/Pesticide is what they are marketing to farmers. They have created the GMO seed and the use of it is within their IP. If you think there is something criminal about this please go take some seed science classes as well as some general business classes and you'll quickly discover why things are the way they are. This is capitalism and only when its corrupted with extreme liberal regulations do farmers start getting taken advantage of. This is half the case for Monsanto but so much of what they provide with their seed/pesticide combos make it plenty worth it for the farmer as well.

It is not illegal for farmers to plant their own seeds. This videos title is misleading click-bait. However, if a farmer purchases patented technologically modified seeds (GMO) and has agreed not to harvest/save/replant those then indeed that would be "illegal" in the sense that they could/would be sued for damages by the seed producer. There is nothing wrong with this.

Theirs was quite an extreme example... anyone (antifa or not) would have quite the book thrown at them for attacking a facility as they did. Don't get me wrong, this is excellent news, but man I want to see even smaller one to two year sentences for smaller local level antifa vandalism and violence. I'd love to see that to start happening more.

I haven't been back there since finding this glorious group - how's the mood over there in general with Iran, etc.?

I'm calling BS on this entire thing. Maybe not in the way you'd think from that statement... I'm calling BS on the rest of the world believing their state-run or just liberal media if they are actually being told we or oppressed here. I work at a fully global company with peers literally all over the world. I have close working friends in most major EU countries as well as some smaller ones like Slovakia and Bulgaria. I also work closely with folks in a couple different places in India as well as people in the UK and throughout Asia. We have interactions with people in the middle-east, Latin America, etc. There are folks I work with whose family live on the border of Ukraine and Russia (they all consider themselves Russian btw) as well as another whose parents still live in Syria. NO ONE thinks we are living oppressed in some capitalist nightmare. I don't quite get the narrative that people are just now seeing that what they have been told isn't the case... they haven't been told this. WTF is the point? And with that I think I'm done giving this one any more thought. Probably didn't need to post this but maybe someone else can word my half-thoughts here better than I can.

I see a hole: illegal workers willing to work minimum wage for some grueling manual labor like on a harvester or something have been/self/whatever deported. I see a peg fit to fill this hole
