China is reportedly seeing people out of their old folklore start appearing colloquially referred to as the Credit Knife men.

The name is a more modern rebranding for old folklore. Where mysterious individuals would essentially give out various Housewares. Most often Kitchen knives. To people on credit.

Typically with a vague and or cryptic prophecy about events over the following year. And under what circumstances they’d return to collect payment.

Usually their appearance in an area according to folklore either foretells disaster and or otherwise dramatic events to follow for the area they appear in.

Some claims Allege that the famed Chinese surveillance network has no record of these individuals existing at all the handful of times they’ve been seen on surveillance feeds.
