An anomalous good story here:
Early on the 'rona crisis when masks were almost mandatory in the UK, I spoke to my general practice doctor and said that I wasn't going to wear a mask because it would alter my blood gases and lower my seizure threshold. I am epileptic with well controlled seizures. I was expecting an argument but he just said "Very sensible!". This meant that if anyone challenged me on not wearing a mask, I could truthfully say that is was doctors orders if I wanted to.
I spoke to the same doctor a couple of months ago and he seemed to remember me and that conversation because he referred to it obliquely.
I think the chances are good that he is "very sensible" too.
