Yup... got flooded out of my home here in 2018 by Flo. Hopefully the Cape Fear river won't do that again in my lifetime. We built above Floyd which was supposed to be the worst. Unfortunately we needed a couple more feet.

I like being at elevation for this very reason. I had a house wiped out on the Panhandle years ago. Cat 5.
