I had a black male friend of mine tell me just the other day that I'd be surprised how many lived on the DL. I remember years ago Oprah did a show on the Chicago DL scene (downlow). Come to think of it she also had Obama on her show when he was running for senator. He was squeaky clean and presented as a moderate idealistic democrat. She knew Obama was a part of that DL community in Chicago.
