Good news. Wellington use to be somewhat of an enchanting place. I even knew a guy that jumped ship and swam to shore so he could enjoy the mystique of this city. That was back in the 1960s though. Wellington was always a bit like Seattle. Even in the 1960s Wellington was like the 1960s Seattle too. Back then, conservatives could openly chum with those 'blue dog' democrats. What ever happened to them today?
