He's more than just an author. The bomb was most likely meant for him, and not meant for his daughter or as a message.
Yep. He was also supposed to be in the car his daughter was in.
From what I gathered, the father and daughter did a last minute switch of their cars, with the result that the daughter was murdered, not the father.
I get the feeling that God felt this man was too valuable to lose, and that the daughter has now become a martyr on the altar of our Freedom.
