Harley girl huh? So is sort of hill country as good for motorcycling as its reputation? What towns out that way would be good to look into? Especially further west/out of the Gulf humidity to whatever degree is possible.
There is no escaping the heat, but anywhere west and northwest of Austin is pretty dry. And for your own safety, stay north of I-10 cuz illegals and their coyotes.
The hill country is beautiful but the politics are very left. At least for now. If you like city life the Dallas-Ft Worth area is conservative (where I live). If you like country life, East Texas closer to Texarkana or West Texas out by big Bend are beautiful and conservative. I’m sure others have different opinions, this is based on my experience having lived here since the 70s.
Yes it is!
I second that txharleygirl!!

There are some good rides (twisted sisters is my fav in TX) but I actually enjoy Arkansas the most for some great rides and an easy weekend trip.
Looking for a town to live or vaca or ride or? Answers would be different for each.
Pondering potential destinations if CO gets too bad to stay in.
