Once again someone not taking responsibility for their own actions. Yes, one meeting with a doctor is hardly ethical, but this “individual” walked herself into surgery.
The shrink, and doctor took advantage of her mental illness, and permanently mutilated her body. I hope she wins big, and that lawsuits like this become the norm.
What is that old saying... "Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it". She wanted it, sought out a doctor to get it approved, made the surgery appointments, went to pre-op meetings, and proceeded with surgeries.... so, yea, she got what she wanted. She had PLENTY of time to think things through... NO ONE took advantage of her.... she sought out doctors who would do what she wanted. We all have to live with the consequences of our own actions. Maybe she could be an advocate to others who need to hear that the decisions to mutilate one's body is a permanent one.
