One of the metrics on my radar is when the population goes full blown vigilantism, against the industry that activity murdered their loved ones, family members and friends.
The health care workers will be the first to go, soft targets, easily available.

This is exactly why I want to get out of Healthcare. I'm an Occupational Therapist working in a small rehab hospital. I've gotten a religious exemption but I'm so disillusioned by the Healthcare system since covid I'm wanting to get out and be self employed. I need to figure out reasonable priced Healthcare. We already have a Healthcare worker shortage at crisis levels in some places because we've fired people for not getting clot shot. The remaining workers will die off as well. Who will take care of all of these sick and dying people? It's going to get crazy.
I've treated an increasing number of strokes and heart attacks in young people with no risk factors since the Vax came out.

I agree, we find carnage in a wide spectrum of aged individuals, that are damaged.

Hope some of those are the lefties in my company before the layoffs begin.

I would like to say that there is place at the top for honor, honest, and excellency but that is not how it really works these days.
Health care cost are artificially inflated for numerous reasons, control over the industry, control over access, wealth redistributing for patient and practitioners alike, and thru the above control, ultimately the ability to covertly implement democide on the population it's supposed to serve.
You are right, there will be a crash, what we build out of the rubble is the question. Your skill set will be in demand if you survive the purge.
In the meantime, most of the sick will die alone in agony and pain, in the land of neglect.
