Many southern actors are actually British. I’ve always wondered why they don’t use true southerners. Scarlet O’Hara actress, Vivian Leigh was British. Maybe they can control outsider’s better. IDK The guy that plays Riggins in Friday Night Lights is from British Columbia. I guess a good voice coach can teach anyone.
